I have been a lawyer in the San Francisco for 15 years, since 1998, focusing primarily on Estate Planning. I am a sought after subject matter expert on Wills and Trusts. In recent years, I have lectured to the IRS, as well as taught Wills and Trusts at three local law schools. Unlike many attorneys in the field, I have an advanced LLM degree in Taxation, which allows me to advise you beyond simple estate planning.
I promise to communicate with you in a straight forward fashion, good news or bad. I answer all my own phone calls and make all my own appointments. When you contact my office, you communicate directly with me, not a staff member unfamiliar with your case. All communications are treated discretely, protected by the Attorney-Client privilege. I take my professional and ethical responsibilities very seriously.
Sometimes coming to see a lawyer can feel intimidating. I promise you that I am just a regular guy who enjoys helping people. This is my dog Gretal. She can vouch that I am easy to talk to, patient, and very relaxed. I am grateful for the opportunity to help clients through a positive and proactive area of law that allows for clients to be comfortable knowing that their wishes are taken care of.
Conveniently located downtown in the Financial District in the historic Russ Building, which has a valet parking garage and is just two blocks north of Montgomery BART.
All clients are provided with a free initial consultation, so that together we can see what I might be able to help you with. I can provide you all the information you need to make significant estate planning choices, and from there we work until the issue is resolved. Be it drafting estate planning documents, trust administration or probate, there is no matter too big or too small for me to handle.
Current and former clients are my greatest sources of referrals; because total client satisfaction is my priority. I am passionate about Estate Planning, and I enjoy talking about it and helping people understand this sometimes confusing area of law.
My commitment to you does not end once your estate plan is drafted. As your life changes, I am committed to helping you in making updates and changes to your estate plan, even those I did not initially draft. When the time comes, I also help your beneficiaries in carrying out your wishes and answering their questions in a difficult time.
On the estate administration side, if you need help administering a trust or challenging the actions of others, I have ample litigation experience in bring such matters to trial.
